Heat pump for heat supply
of individual housing
A significant part
among heat pumps is occupied by small heat pumps used to supply
heat and hot water to individual houses and with heat productivity
of about 10 kW. The sources of low-potential heat are soil (5....15°С)
and subsoil waters (8...15°С). The temperature of water heated in
heat pump to provide hot water supply is no less than 60°С. If the
water is used only for heating, the temperature may be lower. If
the required temperature is 55°С and below, Freon R22 can be used
as the working substance.
In heat pumps it is principally important
to establish counter-current heat exchange in the devices, especially
in the condenser. It is achieved in the devices with condensation
and boiling of the working substance Freon R22 in tubes.
The exhibited heat pump has got “tube within
tube” heat exchange devices of a new type with surfaces edged by
deforming cutting technology.
Heat carrier (water) passes inside the inner
tube and the working substance in side the inter-tube edged channel.
Alternatively under these circumstances plates-type devices with
countercurrent system can be used (boiling and condensation of the
working substance in slit channels of the plates).

Production of liquid natural gas
Currently the EKIP company is engaged in
financing and construction of a natural gas liquefying system based
on CNG-500 with a productivity of 1 ton per hour at the Moscow Gas
Processing plant. The production of LNG is planned to begin in the
2nd quarter of 2003.
Joint projects are being planned with Mostransgaz
and Lentransgaz to build a network of CNG stations equipped with
natural gas liquefying systems to deliver LNG, CNG and LPG at one
gas station.
Besides there has been developed a project
of gas liquefying system at gas-distributing station in Naro-Fominsk
(Moscow region) with
LNG to be produced at GDS in 2003-2004.
Multy-fuel gas stations
The EKIP (EKIP-GAZ) company is designing
equipment of the first in Russia
multy-fuel gas station to distribute LNG, CNG as well as LPG. The
station is going to be equipped with a tank for LNG. CNG will be
derived from LNG by gasification. The construction of the gas station
is planned in 2003-2004.
Equipment for natural gas
EKIP is actively involved in the issues
of utilizing natural gas as motor fuel. We are designing a cryogenic
gas tank and equipment for motor vehicles. A number of variants
of production of some parts of the gas system for motor vehicles
is considered as well. Currently the work is being carried out to
build own LNG, CNG, LCNG and LPG distributors.
